My WWII veteran father used to watch this stuff when I was a kid. I never thought much of it because all I knew was WWII, Korea and Vietnam and add the fact that I gave it no relevance to my immediate life. Ive since become deeply interested in it and it leads me to wonder, what would have happened if the Germans had won that War? Would there ever have been a Hitler? I now realize that this was the most horrific of any war. Im only into the 14th Chapter (out of 28) with each at 40 minutes duration and produced primarily by the BBC in the 50s(?).
