My Yummy Pasta e Fagioli 3 Italian hot sausages, casings removed 1/2 onion, minced 1 garlic clove, minced olive oil garlic powder 1 24oz can Hunts pasta sause/Itallian sausage flavor 1 15oz can red kidney beans 1 15oz can small white beans 1 4 oz can 2 carrots sliced 1 celery stalk sliced 1 Goya-beef powder packet 1 cup ditalini pasta salt and pepper to taste copped spinach if desired Parmasan cheese Torn basil leaves if desired In a large soup pan add the olive oil and heat through, add the carrots, celery, onion and garlic, saute until slightly cooked, add the sausages with casings removed and break into small pieces as it browns and cooks, about 3-5 minutes. Add pasta sauce to pan, the 2 cans of beans with the juices, the mushrooms drained, the beef packet and bring to a boil, add enough water to fill the rest of the pot, season with garlic powder, salt and pepper, bring to a boil mixing well. Add the ditalini pasta,the basil, the spinach and finish cooking till pasta is done. Cover for a few minutes before serving with the Parmasan cheese and rustic Italian bread.
