My afternoon bike ride has been foiled by an incoming thunderstorm so I shall continue to paint. There are lots of creatures, skulls and figures bubbling up to the surface in this one. It is very exciting when things are happening like that because sometimes you step back and look and see faces and personalities that you did not consciously intend or plan to be there. By adding a little color, light or shadow I can enhance the volunteer or let it be more subtle. I say these surprises are the spirits that live around me all the time and they are waiting eagerly to manifest themselves in my works. Find something that you get excited about and do it! Ha ha! Child like excitement is the most refreshing emotion that we can experience; many times it can be instantly healing. I am a peace monger... Here is a 5 shot progression to the present moment... The Thinker. My intentions and my thoughts are invested in a world at peace... Not just peace for men at war but also peace for the animals to not be hunted. Resist making any excuses for war... respect all life... thats what the spirits are telling me while I am listening... and they have not said yet, only when it is convenient to do so... 333 Peace and Grace... 555 :)
