My alter is in my basement where I would normally cast my circles. Since that is difficult for me to do and at least a bit dangerous by myself, I have set up a mini alter in my meditation area. That room is rather large for what it is. large enough to set up a cot in it, if I wanted to, but it is working out for me because as I practice casting my circle (which due to my walking is a hop spin technique) has actually proven to be a save place for when I feel dizzy. I am so thankful for having both these spaces.
