My ancestors came here as Slaves in chains and as indentured labour, In my veins runs indegenous blood as much as in yours, I am an African, who calls this country my only home and who reveres all who contributed and sacrificed for its liberation. Your tone suggest because of my name I am not allowed to have an opinion and should just shut up because what Im saying is uncomfortable, Let me tell you that when my slave ancestors came to these shores they came as political prisoners who resisted the Dutch colonialist in Java, So I am proud of how my lineage contributed and invested in making this country great, I am a patriot and will never allow corruption, greed and oppression to destroy the legacy of all who sacrificed to liberate us all from racism, colonialism, and imperialism. My children and I are born of this soil and we have a right and a duty to take a stand when our future and our wealth is being stolen for the benefit of the Elite whilst our dreams and aspirations are being deliberately sabotaged.
