My bad day: 1.)blew a fuse while drying my hair this morning. 2.) Came downstairs to find that my dog is sick and has used the family room as a toilet---right in front of the Christmas tree. (Aside: not sure if this is the dogs way of saying he dislikes the tree.) 3.) Electric teapot on, but all the water is gone--no morning tea for me. 4.) Backing out of the driveway, the car bings three times to remind me it is on low fuel. 5.) Amanda went home sick--no one to make snide remarks to. 6.) Upon exiting work, I jump in the car, turn the key and....nope. Dead battery. 7.) After a jump start, (after all, I must have just left a map light on, right?) I make it all the way down to the North Side bridge, but upon turning onto Spy Run, my car announces its going into power saving mode, turns off all lights--including headlights--AND I lost power steering, all while my power door locks start locking and unlocking by themselves repeatedly. I pull into (read: LAND IN) a Burger King parking lot and then the car dies.
