My body and all that comes with it, belongs to me, and me alone. What I do to it, what I subject it to, is my business, and mine alone. Whether I treat myself well, or not. In a society like the type of democracies we have in northern Europe, this does not apply in practice. In a country like Sweden, it is simply not so. Not in practice. So why are we so keen on time and time again calling an empire like the USA, small countries like Sweden or Belgium, or even larger countries like the UK etc; Why the stubborn grasping onto calling something, something it is not? The illusion of the Democratic Western World is one tough nut, that many hold on tightly. What would actual democracy look like? Thoughts? Please elaborate :) i am not looking for any definite answer, Im just very curios what YOU think about this. / PD
