My brother, Bentley, turned 2 today! If mom and the doctors had their way, I would have been born today! While Bentley was partying I was having a busy day. It all began with an eye exam. Then they came in to do an echo. I got a little rest before Mom and Gram showed up to find me covered in spit up. My nurse had walked out of the room to greet them and I unleashed a mess. After that got taken care of, my physical therapist showed up to teach Mom and Gram how to help me with my range of motion. So we exercised for a bit and then I took a nap. I was awoken by the ultrasound ladies. The scans today showed a lack of the mass. Whatever they saw yesterday was gone today, so tomorrow they will figure out what tests to run next so we can solve my breathing problem and extubate me! I was pretty gassy and grumpy all day. Im having a hard time coming off the morphine they used to sedate me while on the oscillator. Sometimes I hulk out and when theyve exhausted all the options to calm me they give me a bit of morphine to take of the edge. I hear there is a milk thief at the Ronald McDonald house. There is a room on moms floor where breast milk and medicines are stored. Someone has been lifting some of the milk, so the house closed up the room and mom was forced to transfer milk to a cooler full of ice. Hopefully it stays frozen while they figure out how to handle the situation. Thank you for caring about me and praying for me. =) -Chip
