:: My brother and I got home tonight, after dark, only to realise the door to the chicken coop had blown closed (crazy wind today). So, of the twenty some chickens we have, 10 wedged themselves under the coop and fell asleep (the other 10 were stuck inside). So I had to, one by one, wake them up and pull them out, screeching, so my brother could put them inside. Two ran off into the woods. I caught one and took her back but the other couldnt be found. I just hope she survives (parents are in FL and the chickens are my mums responsibility, shed be sad if we lost one). Not only does she have to survive coyotes but also the cold. Weve dropped below 40 here at night. So, how was your night? ::
