My buddy Dan applied for a fork lift operator job at a firm based in Fall River MA. A woman applied for the same job and since both she and Dan had similar qualifications, they were asked to take a written test and were led to a quiet room with no interruptions by the manager. When the results were in, both Dan and the lady had scored 19 out of 20. The manager went to Dan and said, Thank you for coming to the interview, but weve decided to give the lady the job. Dan roared; What do you mean, why are you doing that, is this some kind of reverse gender discrimination? We both got 19 questions right? So why does she get the job? The manager said; We have made our decision not on the correct answers, but on the question you got wrong. Dan asked; Tell me how one wrong answer would be better than another? Manager, Simple, on question number 7 the woman wrote down, I dont know. And you wrote down, Neither do I.
