My bun is almost 1year and 3months and is unspayed. Im going to make an appointment for her surgery soon but I want to know a little more about what I should do before I make the date. The place thats closest to me does all spays and neuters one after the other at a certain time every day. Then they stay overnight. · I heard it was best if she came home with me right after? & For some reason the fact that they do them one after the other bothers me, is that normal? I think I may be thinking irrationally. Should I possibly find a better, more reputable vet to preform the spay even if it may be further from me which means a longer car ride (shes very good in her crate during car rides but idk how shell be after her spay). ·I live by Monterey, CA. The vet closest is Avian and Exotics. I havent heard much on them, but what I have its been pretty positive. But Im also only about an hour away from vets I have heard LOTS of great things about in the silicon valley. What would you suggest? After Bobas spay, are there any specific things I should have on hand? Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do in general after her surgery? This will be my very first time dealing with a rabbit who has just gotten spayed. Thank You. :)
