My children will ALWAYS be my children no matter what their ages. My children have experienced racism from both side. They have never considered themselves to be just black or white. They were raised to be diverse. They were raised to listen to all music and to get along with everyone no matter what the race. To read that someone thinks for one, my children are uneducated and two, they have no idea what racism is because they are bi racial is ridiculous. My oldest son attended SCSU. He then went to school to become an EMT then Paramedic. Hes not done yet. My 2nd son always had a job. He was enrolled in college before he passed. My 3rd son is employed with Sports Plus and is going to college to be a physical therapist. My daughter is 11. She wants to be a nurse like her sister in law. She may change her mind. Thats her choice. I have a very good job. I worked my way up and have a high school diploma. Not a degree. This was my choice, not my parents. My husband has plenty of educated family on his side. There are also some without degrees but make an honest living. My children are very well respected by a lot of people. They were raised to be respectful but also out spoken. Dont ever think you know how my children were raised or what there family is about on either side. Raise your children the best you know how and I will continue to raise my not to see color. Theres good and bad in all races. Mine just happen to be beautifully blended with both and choose not to see the color issues but are the world as it really is.
