Systems Analyst – Service Business Implementation - Analysis Phase Overview One of Bright Byte’s premier partners is embarking on a key technology initiative aimed at decoupling point-to-point systems integrations and replacing them with services that are available within an Enterprise Service Business capability. The Enterprise Service Business is a technology platform and architecture model used for controlling integrations between internal and external transaction processing systems, account management systems, back office systems and technology systems. The first phase of this initiative is to perform the systems analysis on the many systems that interact with the enterprise data stores and to define the interface requirements. These requirement artifacts will then feed into the design phase of the ESB project. Role Systems Analyst (Senior) – Service Business Implementation - Analysis Phase Responsibilities • Develop an approach and process for analysis of the many systems, • Identify and categorize the processes and systems that interface with the enterprise databases, • Conduct systems analysis of all processes and systems that interact with the enterprise databases, • Create technical requirements that document the many interface points, • Create technical specifications related to the services needed for an ESB implementation, • Maintain a documentation library related to collected systems documentation, • Create the current state of system flow (sequence, flow chart) diagrams, • Interact with internal users and customers to understand and document requirements, • Interact with SME’s and Architects to understand system requirements. Qualifications • Bachelors degree (Computer Science or related field) or equivalent experience, • 8+ years Systems Analysis experience, • Strong background and experience in System/Application Analysis, • Ability to analyze and document complex technical requirements, • Strong research and analytical skills, • Experience creating Business Requirements, Technical Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedule and associated project materials, • Familiarity with ESB or SOA implementations is a plus, • Proficient with MS SQL Server queries & TSQL would be a plus, • Familiarity with a variety of programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms is a plus, • Excellent organizational skills, self-administration, attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritization, critical thinking and analysis, decision-making, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal interactions (ability to foster a cooperative work environment), • Must be results driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed, • Experience supporting internal and external customers, • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Advanced skills in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
