My comment on the article 1965 Jayalalithaa film back in theatres, - TopicsExpress

My comment on the article 1965 Jayalalithaa film back in theatres, beats EC code is now displayed on timesofindia. Can exhibiting a film be violation of EC code? I dont so believe. Kumari Jayalalithaa Jayaram was a professional actress and had given us so many hit films: Aayirathil Oruvan, ‘Adimai Penn’ Oli Vilakku’; together with her mentor MGR, a hero with super natural powers; MGR can defeat a gang 1000 so easily single headedly. This is very much true....I have witnessed his strength and courage umpteen times. Only problem could be, as I foresee by showing these films, the Tamil teen girls may be tempted to wear low-waist saris in the same style Kumari Jayalalithaa Jayaram used to wear in her films with heavy make-up on their eyes and apply on their lips tortoise red colour lipsticks; in short fully imitate Jayalalithaa praying and hoping one day in their future they might also become a Puratchi Thalaivi. Similarly boys might start to wear colourful dresses like MGR in his films - combinations of Yellow/Red, Blue/Yellow, and Purple/Red, in short fully Eastman colour dresses; and to match their shirt/trousers, broad colourful neck-ties. The boys might forget to dress like Ilaya Thalapathi, Vijay! Otherwise allowing screening MGR/ Jayalalithaa hits no problem!
