My comparison begins now Scoring: Tony Parker Although CP3 - TopicsExpress

My comparison begins now Scoring: Tony Parker Although CP3 averages more points than Tony, Parker doesnt take as many shots. He has a smarter shot selection and has a better percentage as far as the ball going in the hoop. Passing: Chris Paul Kinda an easy one here. We all know about Chris Pauls ability to find teammates and make the incredible pass. Paul has the ability to disect the defense and lead his teammates to an easy shot. Besides, CP3 averaged 10.7 assist while TP9 only averaged 5.7, so Paul has that going for him. Defense: Chris Paul We all have heard about CP3s ability to steal passes and snag a ball from an unwary ball handler. All though he cant block shots, he doesnt need to. A great defender who can generate points from his own turnovers. Tony can snag a ball here and there, but just isnt on CPs level when it comes to that. Rebounding: Chris Paul Didnt even want to compare this only because both of them are PGs, but Chris is one of the top rebounding Points. He can sometimes grab 5, 6, maybe even 7 in a game. He is consistently going to pull out 4 rebounds a game. Leadership: Tony Parker Tony is a consistent leader for San Antonio and is vital key if the Spurs ever want to advance. He has a mentality of getting them into it whenever there down. He has a veteran presence and can help young players like Kawhi, Green, Tiago, etc. keep there cool when they are down. Plus he has experience in the finals and can teach young players how to react on a big stage like that. Chris has great leadership but just hasnt consistently kept his team cool on big stages, while Parker has. The better one in my opinion is Paul, but Parker is no doubt one of the premiere Point Guards in the league. Paul just has an ability to get teammates involved and get steals that Parker just doesnt have. But if I did have to choose a Point Guard to have in the finals between these 2, Id choose Parker. -AI3
