My confession: I saw a lady today who was wearing a high heel shoe and was walking funny. Because of my eyes for fashion I was very quick to notice and judge her in my heart. I was like Is it by force, see how she is walking? A few moments later I had the opportunity to hear her story and here it is: She was born with a rare disability. Her vertebrae was deformed, she was born with just a kidney that doesnt function well and up till date she has had 45 surgeries and procedures since her birth including surgeries to reconstruct her esophagus, trachea, and lower intestine, and to fuse several vertebrae in her spine. The best part of the story is she now has an NGO that helps others fulfill their dreams. Her NGO has succeeded in putting smiles on the faces of several people and she is just 27 years old. This is a classic example of Life threw me a lemon but I made a lemonade out of it. I am so blown away and inspired. How many times do we judge people before we even get a chance to hear their stories or understand their lifes journey. Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle you know nothing about. Being patient with other peoples faults and weaknesses in one of the greatest proof of our love for God.
