My country and Ironies: Up till this moment, our Army are at the forefront in peace keeping missions in other African countries. That same Army is now being run ragged by some guerilla terrorist in our own backyard. If we cant keep peace in our homes how did we achieve that in our peace keeping jamborees? For those of us who have seen curfew imposed at one time or the other you will remember how we stay indoors in hunger if its 24hrs and how we run back home to escape Military wrath if there is time set e.g. 6am to 6pm, now even in states where government imposed State of Emergency which is suppose to be more harsh we realize it is both the Military and the Civilians who are running to escape the wrath of Terrorists. In the same period, these law enforcement agents too Terrorise innocent civilians on the road, during elections, peaceful demonstrations, opposition political rallies and meetings. Cameroon Armies brought back some of our own who ran away to Cameroon few weeks ago. Our President is meeting his Chadian counterpart (alongside a Terror suspect), perhaps very soon Liberia, Serra Leone, Mali, Chad will begin to send peace keepers too. AS A NATION HOW WE GET HERE???
