My dad and I had the honor and pleasure of attending the Career - TopicsExpress

My dad and I had the honor and pleasure of attending the Career Day at the Rowe Clark Noble Math & Science Academy High School (on Chicago Avenue)in Chicago today. My dad represented Engineers ( Civil Engineering ) and Surveyors and I represented lawyers. The students were very well behaved and engaging and I was impressed with the students, the teachers and the school. They have a number of good programs like their technology center, college counseling and scholarships, and internships. Rowe Clark Noble Math & Science Academy High School stresses discipline and basics like sitting up straight, tucking in your shirt, paying attention (the kind of stuff I grew up with at my schools). Many of the students talked to my dad and I for a long time. Thank you to Sam Toaia at Leonas for the Lunch. Thank you to Rowe Clark Noble HS teacher, soccer coach and my friend Carlos Del Toro (a/k/a Mr. Del Toro to his students) for inviting me and allowing me to take part in their career day. Carlos Del Toro was the best soccer player that I ever saw come out of the Midtown Center. and has played professional soccer and is now a great teacher (and a teacher that truly cares and the students see that and they trust him) and coach.
