My daily devotion: Stephanie, a little girl born with multiple defects, has undergone over 30 surgeries, 4 of which were open heart procedures. In a life filled with medical obstacles, she is still remarkably joyful. Many times you can see her being pushed in her wheelchair through the atrium, dancing in her own special way to the worship music. She has a child-like joy that is bigger than any medical challenge she may face. Joy during difficult times is possible. No matter what challenges you face, you can find joy when you serve Christ, when you love Him, and your life is devoted to fulfilling His purpose for you. He can give you joy and unspeakable peace that surpasses all understanding. This special little girls joy for life demonstrates how God can use us at any age and in any circumstance. Lets all learn to dance for Him when we face challenges in life. When it comes to overcoming obstacles, Davids story in 1 Samuel 17 proves that God can overcome any circumstance. We need only to trust in Him.
