My darling Teddy, you’re two today. What an adventure it has - TopicsExpress

My darling Teddy, you’re two today. What an adventure it has been so far. You make me laugh everyday, your bold moves on the trampoline, your independent “I do, I do, I DOOOOOOO”, your laugh, your love of cars, trucks, diggers and anything that moves really really fast. And some days you make me cry. Like that time you threw a ball at my head when I wasn’t looking or that other time when it was 10pm and you STILL weren’t asleep. I still don’t know how that’s possible. Sometimes you make me scared, because you’re too brave. Sometimes you make me frustrated because even though I try really hard, I just don’t know what you want, and neither do you. I love that you say hello and bye bye to almost everyone you meet, but occasionally someone will make you nervous and you want me to hold you. It’s almost like you know something I don’t. I love that you make your breakfast every morning with a little help from Daa. I love that you call your Dad, “Daa” because I call him darling. I love that you don’t love Dora the explorer or Frozen and that you’d rather watch “Men with balls” (League) or Monster Trucks. I love (sometimes loathe) your energy you would go and go and go if I let you. I love how you love the moon, the wind and the water. I love that you think you’re fabulous and will happily kiss yourself in the mirror. I love how well I know you, but that I still have so much to learn about you. I love that sometimes you want Daa to read to you at night but sometimes you want me. I love that when you want someone to sing to you, you choose me, because, lets face it, I sing better. I love that you can be totally mental in the car but if I open your window or start singing you calm down almost instantly. I love your kisses and squeezy’s. I love your sparkly eyes and golden ringlet hair and that most of the time Daa will wash it for me. But mostly, I just love how you love me. Nothing makes me happier than those chubby arms around my neck, because I know, I KNOW how fast they will become long and lean and strong, just like your brothers… I love you Teddy, thank you for an epic two years… And thank you to everyone else whos shared your journey and loved watching you grow as much as I have
