My daughter Bridget just said its so upsetting that we cant do anything but watch them ruin our country This is my reply to her and everyone else. We can do something Bridget. We can make sure we all think hard about who we vote for in the next election. We need to educate ourselves not only about who we are voting for but who their preferences flow to. We also need to get new people to run for political office the bunch we have now have actually been around for ages, they have no real new ideas just ideologies. Look at independents, run as one yourself, dont vote for a party just because you always have, look at their policies, past and present. Make an appointment to see them and ask them the hard questions. Only we can change the country for better or worse.
