My daughter is a self professed geek. She wants to be a cetologist when she grows up. She loves being outside, rescuing monarch caterpillars, watching meteor showers, biking, swimming, botany, getting covered in mud, reading and writing fan fiction, Dr. Who, mst3k, & (some) Mel Brooks movies, & spending time with her brother and best friend. She is warm, funny, kind, welcoming to new people, & has a strong faith. She loves classical music and has no idea who New Direction is. At her school, she is not part of the "in" crowd. She is a geek. She is proud to be unique though she often feels invisible. I am proud of her for staying true to being a good person instead of picking on others to elevate herself. She is my geek. And she will change the world.
