How are you? :-D Ive got a task for you ;-) Buy some duct tape and seal your mouth the next time you plan to whine about how Indians are unfairly treated abroad because of our dark skins or because we are so much smarter than them. You know what? Its pathetic the way you endorse racism yourself, especially a skewed desi version of it. Remember how you gaped at the African national few days ago? Certains thought about wild, uncultured criminals and drug dealers crossed your mind. No dont deny it. You very well know youre lying to yourself. :o How about that totally amazing moment when you discovered the chinky guy youd assumed to be a chinese could speak perfect hindi, because unknown to your superior intellect, the fact is that he belonged to the northeast? :-P Umm...wasnt it funny when you wondered how people from Sikkim and Assam always ended up selling momos and Nepali guys chose security guard as their career option? O.o The man who sweeps your road...crass, uneducated, loud, with a horde of children-you could bet your right kidney hed come from UP/Bihar. Because these states are famous for producing daily wage workers! B-) Psst! Heres some free advice: NEVER rent your house to haryanvis; such uncouth, insolent goons they are from a rapist state. And God save you if you ever enter the shop of any Gujarati/banya. Stingy misers they are, with their infinite, supreme lust for money. :/ Dont you feel the hunt for fair, thin and beautiful brides, and tall, dark and handsome grooms by Indian families is justified as personal choices? No racism there of course! O:) So, the question I raise: if we do believe in these harmless stereotypes, if we think of our OWN people this way, WHY SHOULD WE FEEL OUTRAGED WHEN A FOREIGNER THINKS THE SAME ABOUT US? Why is it even wrong? They are, after all echoing our own thoughts we harbour about our own people? They are, after all resonating the very insecurities that we possess about our own people? Youre in denial. I know you are. You know its true, and each fact is applicable to you, but you can do precious little about it no? Fine. No problem. Ill meet you later folks!
