My dear people, we have set for ourselves a new programme that will have direct impact on the lives of the people and the State. We will develop a robust employment generation programme that will not only make our people employees in both public and private sectors of the economy, but also, employers of labour. In doing this, we shall create the necessary ambience for the safety of lives and property, infrastructural development, that is, power and transportation, encourage the growth of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) and bring fresh initiatives into agricultural production. Towards this end, we intend to go back to the basics, and identify what and how it can be adapted in the context of prevailing circumstances and with potentials for further development............Ibikunle Amosun.
