My dear sister and brother, if you started to work on yourself to - TopicsExpress

My dear sister and brother, if you started to work on yourself to better it in deen and iman, expect the following: It is not going to be an easy road because nothing expensive comes easy, and you getting closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’lah and being on the right track is the most expensive thing you can attain in this world. Expect temptations from the shaytaan and sometimes from even family and friends but remind yourself of the words of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alah before you go forward and follow them, Allah says: (And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out, And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.) 65:2-3 If Allah is with you, you will not need anyone else, he is sufficient Subhanahu wa Ta’alah, he will bring you the rizk, he will bring you the husband or the wife, he will bring you the children and he will ease every difficult situation. You should also expect trials and difficulties….. I know you must be wondering and asking yourself why!!? If I am getting closer to Allah and doing what he wants me to do, why will he try me!!? The answer: Allah SWT says in: (Do the people think that they will be left to say, We believe and they will not be tried? ) (But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.) 29:2-3 So be sure that he will test you, why? To purify you, The Prophet ﷺ said, “No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that,” [Bukhari]. He will test you to prove to yourself before anyone whether you are truthful to him and to yourself. Are you only close to Allah (swt) in times of ease, or does your trust extend to the times of hardship? When you are tested, do you leave the good deeds that you used to do? Allah (swt) describes such people and says: “And of the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If he is touched by good, he is reassured by it; but if he is struck by trial, he turns on his face [to the other direction]. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what is the manifest loss.” [Qur’an, 22:11] He will test you to deepen your iman and make it stronger. He will test you so that you strive harder to learn his deen and understand the why?. He will test you to mend you. Finally, he will test you because Jannah is expensive and you must work hard to earn it. You work 8 to 10 hours a day to earn few pounds to spend in less than a month, ask yourself how many hours you need to put to earn the eternal Jannah (Paradise)!!!? WAllahi not as much because he is the most merciful and the most generous just open your eyes and ponder. So next time you see trials coming towards you despite the fact that you are doing your best to get closer to Allah, be happy and be hopeful and rest assured that it is Allah’s way to purify you and to guide you to eternal happiness (The Jannah). Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’lah says: Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, ‘When is the help of Allah?’ Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.” [Qur’an, 2:214] Remember the best of people (The Prophet and messengers) were the most tested. Mus’ad ibn Sa’eed reported: His father asked, “O Messenger of Allah, which people are tested most severely?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “They are the prophets, then the next best, then the next best. A man is tried according to his religion. If he is firm in his religion, then his trials will be more severe, and if he is weak in religion, then he is tried according to his strength in religion. The servant will continue to be tried until he is left walking upon the earth without any sin.” Source: Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2398 May Allah (swt) make us of those who constantly turn to Him, in hardship and ease.
