My dear sweet Michael Blakely; you are so missed and loved by so many people and loved ones, but we will always have the wonderful, great, loving, and funny memories to share with each other. I catch small glimpses of you here and there think of all the wonderful and endearing things you did while on this earth. I will never forget your voice, your laughter, your beautiful blue eyes, but most of all your caring qualities that you left behind in a legacy that lives on through your children. You were a great son in law to me, a wonderful and loving husband to my daughter, Sarah Goode Blakely, and a GREAT, caring, and sincere loving father to Leah Blakely and Lara Blakely and an endearing friend to many; but one stands out – Dusty Thomason. You made such an impact on all the children and families that you coached during most sports and left a listening shoulder for those that needed one. I know that GOD created a much different path for you than your family and I would have chosen for the man that gave so much of himself to others and loved people for who they were and not judge them because they may of have less or more than you. You gave unconditionally to others and your family. So after many, many days, weeks and months, I know GOD needed you more than we needed you here with us on this earth. He needed the best and he asks for you. The pain will never go away, missing you will never be conquered, but my heart is not as heavy now since I know that you are a very special angel to so many people. I do have a “request” for you…Please continue to give Sarah, Leah and Lara the strength and encouragement to move forward with their life’s and follow GOD’s path for his purpose. They struggle with each passing day, but I know you are watching over each of their souls to surrender to their grief and let them be free from the pain and anger that they each feel in so many different ways. You will never be forgotten and never be as loved by so many as you are today, so and R.I.P. dearest Michael and that we will all soon rejoice in GOD’s love together soon. In his name, AMEN!
