My devotion this morning speaks volumes to me on the damages that judging others can do, not only to us and the ones on the receiving end, but to our relationships with each other and with God. When Jesus died on the cross for us, it was for all of us.... The nature of division in our world both confines us and comforts us. Its boundaries give us easy ways to identify ourselves and others. We shackle chains around the wrists of those we meet by assessing them and assigning them their roles to play. Others do the same to us. Unaware of how to escape the system, we hold out our own wrists and submit to the role others deem us worthy to play. d365 Break every chain.... when we allow ourselves to be pulled into boundaries and stereotypes and judgements we then alter the flow of Gods love and blessings in our life. How can we possibly love our neighbor when we put them in little boxes of what they should be and do before we bless them with the love that God freely gives to us, regardless.
