My devotion today reminded me that we should expect hardships in this world. Hardships like disease, sickness, loss of loved ones, pain, but most notably hardships for following our Savior and letting our light shine. The question is is it worth it? Do you think it is worth holding onto your faith and following your Savior while being ridiculed, and mocked for walking the narrow path? I say it IS! Consider the alternative. Our life is so short compared to the eternity we will endure either in Heaven with Jesus, or eternal suffering in Hell. My advice to you if you are suffering, hold fast. Heaven is REAL but so is Hell and a life of ridicule is worth enduring for an eternal life in heaven that no one can even imagine. Jesus also comforts his people in his word, even though we will endure hardships, none of it truly matters because he has paid the ultimate price already... So we have nothing to fear. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world --- John 16:33 Have a most Blessed TUESDAY!!!
