My dissertation supervisor at USask is kind of hilarious - TopicsExpress

My dissertation supervisor at USask is kind of hilarious sometimes: "...I am not sure ‘grandfathered’ is the right word on a couple of counts. One, you would be grandmothered, Two, Usually it comes from folks for example who are registered under the old conditions and are allowed to maintain their registration when new, more stringent, criteria come into effect, without taking any exams etc. They are not accredited currently so you would not be graduating from an accredited internship, but they do become accredited before or as you complete. It is the reverse phenomenon, ie going the other way. Because you want to be admitted under the new terms and have them (accreditation) apply to you. Clearly this is being grandchilded into the new terms." I laughed for far too long.
