My email is flooded with articles on Indianas education standards this weekend. I believe the Governor wants the best for our children, I had the chance to plead on their behalf about two weeks ago, I saw his love for our children, but I have to say, Im terrified at what I am reading today. Its not just one or two articles from disgruntled activists...Its a united voice across the spectrum of experts. The 2006 standards made us the envy of the nation. I dont understand... If something isnt broken, why fix it? They are voting on this Monday. Maybe I wouldnt be so anxious about this if my kids were not living this nightmare. God, give these leaders wisdom, and us the stamina to fight for our children.
