My email to Senator Jeff Sessions; Senator Sessions, I write to - TopicsExpress

My email to Senator Jeff Sessions; Senator Sessions, I write to you today to express my concern over the banking derivatives portion of the Cromnibus bill. If we allow investment banks to once again mix their monies with commercial banking money in order to command higher returns based on the implicit security of those FDIC backed accounts on the backs of taxpayers, I am afraid we are setting ourselves up for a disaster. If the world economies at large decide to move away from the Dollar as the reserve currency of the world, this country will automatically be bankrupt and sovereignty will be forfeited. Without the confidence of the world economies that we are good stewards of our own economic future, this seems to me to be an inevitable conclusion. I cannot state enough the seriousness of what would happen if the Dollar was replaced as the reserve currency of the world. Our ability to refinance our debts would be an impossible and insurmountable position, and with bankruptcy goes our sovereignty. I would like you to also bear in mind who the largest shareholders of Citigroup are, The Gulf Arab emirate of Abu Dhabi and Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. It was Citigroup lobbyists that wrote the derivatives portion of the Cromnibus bill. We as a country will be facing an extra level of scrutiny given our recent economic failure to regulate our banks effectively, and with the recent addition of the Torture report, maybe an even greater level of scrutiny over whether the world economies will maintain the Dollar as the reserve currency are sure to flourish. We may soon find ourselves beholden to sovereign wealth in the Middle East and along with that the introduction stateside to Sharia banking. The stakes are too high to let parties who have no interest in US sovereignty to lead us down this very dangerous path. I hope to hear back from you either through return email our on the floor of the Senate to keep us from launching ourselves into this course of madness. Sincerely, Mike Ezell.
