My faith in humanity has been restored. I broke down on my way home from work and turned out I ran out of gas. My gas gauge must be broken. It was near the New Baltimore rest area so I was so close to the gas pumps. I called Aramis and when he got to me , he walked over to the gas pumps to get a gas can full of gas. He came back empty handed and told me the gas station did not have gas cans but if they did he wouldnt be able to walk the gas back because its illegal. That was news to me and I was so angry because I had Alejandro with me and the cars were zipping past me. The guy said Aramis would have to push the car to the gas pump. Thats right, I said push. It was probably a good 1/4 mile to the pumps. I was in the front seat steering the car while Aramis was pushing. He did awesome and got nearly halfway but was starting to struggle. At this point three guys came running over from the rest area and took it the rest of the way. I couldnt stop thanking them. Had they not helped out I dont know how long it would have taken and Aramis could have really hurt himself. Though I dont know their names, thank you, thank you, thank you for helping to save the day!
