My final post for the round house...I promise! The Logan Round - TopicsExpress

My final post for the round house...I promise! The Logan Round House, which might sound like some kind of fighting move, is also known as Stewarts Folly, named for the ridiculous amount of effort went into building the structure, ultimately leading to it being basically useless. The design of this structure was an architectural innovation of the 1970s, to be implemented into a building style for homes in places containing heavy hurricane weather, or even a place like Tornado Alley. Mr. Stewart died from heart disease, without ever having moved his family into the house as was planned, never to see his innovation put to its test. The original blueprints and design notes were lost in a fire, making the Logan Round House truly one of a kind, unique and to never be truly equally recreated. Below are photos of both the outside and inside. Golf ball, death star...whatever you want to call it, this was quite an amazing structure to see, almost like a UFO had crash landed in the forest. facebook/JohnnyJooPhotography
