A lamp mounted on top illuminated the blue background, lighting the semi-darkened sitting room inside his best friends exclusive club. The trip was suppose to have been a simple visit, for he had not talked with Master Jonathan in a long time. Two hours later, he wrestled with his thoughts hoping to come to an easy decision. Suddenly, a simple visit had taken on a bigger purpose. He watched as the fish swam oblivious to the life they led. Forced to live in a glass prison, they moved in a constant loop, never making any progress, living totally at the whim of their owner. Their owner Jonathan Cristian Brand was anything but arbitrary and as far as he knew never given to malevolence, yet like the fish, his life was not his. Just as they, he lived a life of pleasant display for the world to enjoy, while he swam in a pretty glass bowl. Wyatt shook his head. Gloomy thoughts like that were the main reason why his wife kept pushing for him to speak to a therapist. He chuckled. Me see a shrink. Like thats going to happen. “Have you made a decision?” Jonathan asked behind him. “Hunh?” he said stirring from his ruminations. “Youre back. I guess I lost track of time.” “If you stay any longer, Ill be forced to charge you rent.”
