My first ever music and video production, and a tribute to the - TopicsExpress

My first ever music and video production, and a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse. Edited using footage of Amy in a number of public and private environments (including film that was hardest to watch of her being furiously chased by paparazzi) and mixed with sequences from The Red Shoes (1948), a fairy tale about a dancer who cannot remove her enchanted dancing shoes, as they begin to move by themselves. From pouring through hours of footage of Amy, she seemed very vulnerable and very giving, but not to herself. Its as if you can see, from the way her face lights up during interactions, that she validates herself on what others think of her. She gives to the press and to those hounding her. It saddens me that she passed away, she is archetypal for me in some way. I believe she was a fantastic songwriter and Wake Up Alone is my favourite song of hers. From spending time with her during the making of this, I am left with the thought that it is so very important to be loving to ourselves. It is the only way to stay vulnerable, open and honest, but strong at the same time. Thankyou Max Wj for showing me the way with Premiere Pro :) LOVE xx youtu.be/zbzSpq-W4Y4
