My first open vision that I had happened as a sinner. I was invited to a womans house to fornicate. I walked out on her balcony that over looked the city and a bright light shined from heaven and the clouds opened up [prior to this I was a dancer and was VIP at clubs and was supposed to be going on MTV2. I was getting ready to meet celebrities]. When the heavens opened up, I heard God in an audible voice. He said KENNY, IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE THIS LIFE, YOU WILL DIE. I responded God?!! No one had to tell me that God had called me. I heard His audible voice and the fear of the Lord struck my heart. I thought something crazy had happened. I think I asked the woman if she heard what I heard and she may have laughed. At this time, I had this guy who I ran with and I think was a major drug dealer but I do not know. He lied all the time but he had connections so I was not really to concerned. I do not even remember his name. All I know is, when God calls our name, He makes Himself known. This is what He did to me. I am the least likely person to preach the gospel. In fact, when I started to seek God, barely anyone believe it. Because I was such a sinner, it was hard for people to think that God could save me. For about 1 year, I can remember people trying to bring me back into my old life but I separated myself and broke company with all my old friends. This is where many struggle. They will not leave old friends so they do not leave sinful living because they hang out with sinners as mutual friends. We willl never grow in Jesus if we keep sinners as intimate friends. We will go back to sin. COMMAND: 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, [18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
