My first post since leaving for Tennessee, Dec 14th. Traveling through half a continent by car and running in to nice people at every stop, makes one appreciate this planet, her beauty and her people. It also opens the eyes to the diversity of economic realities. Met 3 very bright young ladies. One would love to pursue medical research. The cost of 8+ years of education will be at least $500,000 with no guarantee of a job. She has chosen nursing instead so she does not have to mortgage the rest of her life. The second and third young ladies have a family who had the income to save for her and her sisters educations. The youngest is working on her masters in Psychology. The older sister attended university for one year but fell in love with baking working at a small bakery during her summer at home and is pursuing the knowledge to one day own her own bakery. What has the world lost, when some of our brightest forgo their potential due to financial burden..............The following short video opens the door to a reality where every one could be free to excel.
