My first time going to Nisei Week was in 2011. I remember Roger and Jaden helped me host my first cosplay gathering ever near Pinkberry. I was a noob cosplayer who didnt know much about the community. That day is when I met many of my awesome friends I know today! After that day I wanted to become more involved with the community and make new friends so the idea of Infotakus became more concrete. So many awesome things have happened ever since that first Nisei. I have grown as a cosplayer and as a person ever since then and Im so happy to be a part of our LA cosplay community. Im also very happy I can give something back for all the joyful memories I make thanks to each and every one of you. I want to thank my family - my mom, my sisters and my bf - for supporting me and for always putting up with my crazy cosplays and shenanigans, and I want to thank my close friends for believing in me and for sticking by my side even though I am bonkers. All of you have made me who I am today and I thank God for all of you.
