My forecast- More of the same in Washington. Judging by his words, President Obama has not learned anything last night. His agenda stays remarkably and arrogantly unchanged, his resolve nothing but strengthened. All while his body shows a deflated President, devoid of tangible solutions, rudderless, exasperated by a hostile media finally willing to hold him accountable for the first time in six years. There is no overt display of humility, no contrition, no acceptance of responsibility - Nothing. Even when he insisted his agenda was on the ballot last night. Contrast this to President Clintons words, body language, and most importantly action after his own 1994 midterm debacle... c-span.org/video/?61445-1/presidential-midterm-elections-reaction We should expect nothing but gridlock and an equally obtuse Republican Party that will use the very same tools their predecessors in Congress have to push legislation through all the way to a veto wall. The message has fallen into deaf ears. Business as usual in Washington.
