My friend, Geraldine Flemming-Mueller, reported to me that her youngest niece, Anya, gave birth last night to a healthy baby girl. Its her and her husbands first child. Geraldine was delighted. Shes always been extremely close to all of her eleven, thats right, eleven, nieces and nephews. While Anya was pursuing her undergraduate degree at UCLA, she lived in one of the guest houses on Geraldine and Tonys estate. Anya and Geraldine are very close, and Geraldine enjoyed having Anya living with her. Anya, who is a Spanish National, her sister Allison has been living in Spain with her husband since the mid-seventies, returned to Spain after her graduation and married her longtime Spanish sweetheart. She plans to attend graduate school when her daughter is out of diapers, but for at least the first two years of her daughters life, she is going to stay home with her. Not a bad plan at at all. Enjoy your children while theyre babies, because they do grow-up so fast. Geraldine and Tony are establishing a fifty-thousand dollar trust fund for Anyas baby, that she will be able to access when shes eighteen years old. Now thats a very nice, welcome to the world present.
