My friend, John McClure, loves music; yes, even country and western. He is passionate about people exposing themselves to new musical experiences and often posts links to music videos on facebook. Occasionally, he turns this into a game. If you like his posts, he will give you a letter of the alphabet and you have to choose a song or artist beginning with that letter and post a link to one of their songs. I was given the letter D and it is only fitting, as John introduced me to his music, that I choose Nick Drake. Unfortunately, Nick Drake died in 1974 and was not famous in his lifetime. He was incredibly reclusive and there are no videos of him performing and very few photos of him. Consequently, there is no music video but this link blends intimate photos with his beautiful music. I am happy to play Johns game, and if you like this song then I will send a letter so that you can play the game too!
