My friend Pirchiya Carmel wants to know about Proverbs 24:30-34 - TopicsExpress

My friend Pirchiya Carmel wants to know about Proverbs 24:30-34 and the field of the "lazy". Here is what had on that: I passed by the field of the lazy, And by the vineyard of the man lacking heart; Devarim 6 & 11 address the opposite. Those diligent will speak the Word aloud to themselves when they rise up, when they go to bed and while they are in the way. Tehillim 103:20 says that ministers to the heirs of Yahuwah’s salvation (angels) hearken to the voice of Yahuwah’s Word and when you speak it that much they are very busy acting on His Word. Yahushuwah says, "Seek FIRST His Kingdom and His Right-ruling and all these things will be ADDED to you." And see, it was all overgrown with thorns; Its surface was covered with nettles; Part of what those angels will be doing is weeding; getting everything out of your life that does not produce fruit; or, that amounts to a weight that hinders fruit production. Ibri 6:7-8 discusses, “But ground which produces nothing but thorns and thistles is of no value and is bound sooner or later to be condemned - the only thing to do is to burn it clean.” Lack of diligence in the Word will result in destruction by burning. And its stone wall was broken down. This wall is a type and shadow of protection from predators/the Evil One. If we don’t apply ourselves diligently to being doers of the Word and putting it first, judging ourselves, and making it as important as eating, sleeping, drinking, and breathing, we give place to the Evil One because spiritually we have not done all that was necessary to maintain the wall that protects us. Job 1:10, "Have You not put a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have conferred prosperity and happiness upon him in the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land." When I saw it, I set my heart on it; I looked and received discipline: A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; And your poverty shall come, a prowler, And your need like an armed man.
