My good morning joke to celebrate the new month of December.... Johnbull and his wife,Ekaette were to travel for Benin to calabar with their car which was 11 hours journey by car.being seniors,they were too tired to continue so they decided to take a 3 hours rest in a hotel room nearby.when they checked out 3 hours later,the desk clerk handed them a bill of 30,000 naira.Johnbull explodes and demands to know why the bill is so high.he told the clerk that although the hotel was nice but the rooms arent worth 30,000 naira for 3 hours.the clerk tells him 30,000 naira is the standard rate.so Johnbull insisted on speaking with the Manager.the manager comes,listens to him and then explains that the hotel has an Olympic sized pool and a huge conference center that were available to use.but we didnt use them.Johnbull said. well,they are here,and u could have.said the Manager. The manager also said,we are also famous for our shows done here.the best entertainers in Nigeria perform here.u should have gone for it. johnbull said,but we didnt attend any of these shows. the manager said,well,we also have them and u could have. no matter wat amenity the Manager mentioned,johnbull replied,but we didnt use it but the manager was unmoved so Johnbull gave up and decided to pay.as he didnt have his check book,he asked his wife to write the check. She did and gave it to the Manager.the Manager is amazed wen he looks at the check. but madam this is made out of only 2,000 naira. Ekaette said,thats correct.i charged u 28,000 naira for sleeping with me. but i didnt!exclaimed the Manager. Ekaette just smiled and said,well,too bad,i was here,and you could have. hahahaha...
