My goodness - rival charities can go at it like a Tong War. Ran into an executive of one and told her of a collection effort at work for another. Oops. She equated the other organization with a cesspool of corruption and mismanagement, and I suspect it would be vice versa. Teresa had no sympathy for me. She said "You should have known better. Would you walk into a Catholic Church and start talking about Baptists?" Whew! Think I may as well be in Iraq sometimes.
