My grandfather asks me why with all my degrees dont I have good job. I guess my answer to that would be only ten percent of the jobs available in the country are of the level of a university graduate. The country itself has over a fifty percent unemployment rate and some whack BEE policies. In order to get a junior position you need two to five years experience. To get this experience you have to work for free. On top of that I want to work in the music industry. The music industry in South Africa is largely informal. Ergo. I work for myself. It pays the bills - I would define that as a good job in a recessive economy.
