My grandmother, Sarah Baysinger Pyles was a great mountain state resident, originally from nearby Spraggs PA in Greene County. MY dads side of the family helped establish Mason Dixon Part which borders on Monongalia County WV and Greene County PA. This is the place where Mason and Dixon laid the final marker for there historical survey. During the time of the early frontier, this was very hostile Native American territory. She is mentioned in this article recently published in the Elkins WV newspaper, The Inter-mountain. I have wrote around 50 of these since coming to pastor here locally. The Inter-Mountain has published them all! Hope everyone enjoys this! Grandpa Ray was raised in Core WV.
