My grandmother has devised a new and improved passive-aggressive technique to try on me. She calls me up and a little-too-casually asks me how the weather is. And I tell her the weather is sunny or rainy, whatever it is. And then she says, Oh? I thought maybe youd be having some STORMS or something out that way. And I recalibrate and say, Huh, thats weird, nope not stormy at all, just pretty, uh, average, I guess youd say. And she says, I just thought maybe you were having some storms. And I say, Nope. And then she says, disappointed in me, Because Ive been following it on The Weather Channel. She does this every phone call.
