My grandparents were Bud Tidwell & Edith Martin Tidwell and Clarence (CC) Whitt & Dorcas (Dot, Polly) Sears Whitt. My parents are Bill(y) Tidwell & Betty Jane Whitt Tidwell. Would love pictures of or stories about any of my parents, grandparents, aunts, &/or uncles. My daddys grandparents lived in the mill villages, too, though Im not sure of their names -- I believe one of daddys grandpas was a sheriff. My parents left the mill villages after they got married, but I ended up buying a house right down the street from the house in which my mother was born! Its amazing -- like so many others, my family probably wouldnt exist if not for Cone Mills.
