My greatest hope is that when I reach the end of my days there is nothing left of me. My life is a candle. A candle left unlit will remain whole but it will give off neither warmth nor light. I want to be on fire for God, giving off light for those in darkness and spreading warmth to those whose lives are cold and empty. I want to be completely spent in loving my neighbor as myself as I love my God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength . When my days are over my hope is that all that is left of me is a smoldering scrap of wick in a small puddle of wax.
