My heart is aching..... My sweet Ashlynne has always loved, loved, LOVED school and learning since she was old enough to point to pictures as a baby. She got her post card today, and hasnt stopped crying for the past hour. She says she had this teacher for resource, and she is really mean and yells all the time. My first thought was..how is this teacher any different from me in Ashys eyes, lol.....cause she often says I am mean. But mean mamas raise strong children. So I am ok with strict and disciplined. Then, I overheard her having a convo with her sister and said how she isnt going to school for an entire month cause she doesnt like the teacher. As a mother, never experienced this before, she has always been a little leery of a new school year, (probably cause the last teacher she had each year is the best on the planet) but she is also always so excited she counts down the HOURS til she meets her teacher. Now, she doesnt even want to go to Open House. each time, we discuss how God provides the most PERFECT teacher for her. And how He does answer our prayers. This year, the principal didnt have parents fill out a form of the childs strengths and weaknesses.... So it was like roulette of who was assigned?? I am sure the teacher is phenomenal like all teachers at her school are ....... Not sure how to handle this one.
